Iran blasts Arab silence over W. Bank mosque vandalism

Iran on Friday blasted Arab countries' lack of condemnation for the recent mosque vandalism in the West Bank, allegedly carried out by settlers.An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman attacked the "silence of the Arab countries over the burning of mosques and Korans."In the latest incident, police forensic officers investigating a fire that broke out Tuesday at a mosque in Lubban Sharkiya, north of Ramallah, have not found any flammable material that would indicate that the blaze was caused by arson. However, they said it was too soon to rule out arson, as the investigation was ongoing.Last month, graffiti, including a Star of David and the name Mohammad, was sprayed on the Bilal Ibn Rabah mosque in Hawara, south of Nablus, while two vehicles were torched in the village.
