Iran opposition figure's son reportedly released on bail

TEHRAN - A son of Iranian opposition leader Mehdi Karoubi was released on bail, three weeks after being arrested trying to visit his father who remains under unofficial house arrest, his website said on Saturday.
Another son has been able to visit the 73-year-old cleric at his home, another opposition website said, showing he is not being held in jail as his supporters had feared.
Karoubi, and fellow opposition figurehead Mirhossein Mousavi, have not been seen in public since early February when they called on their followers to hold a rally in support of uprisings elsewhere in the Middle East.
