Iran warns dictators of humiliating, dishonorable fate

Iran greeted the news of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's demise with a warning for other dictators. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said that "a humiliating and dishonorable fate awaits oppressors that trample upon the rights of their nations," PressTV reported.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman also said Iran hopes that the end of the Gaddafi regime signals a new chapter in Libya's politics, preparing for the formation of a democratic government, according to the report.
