Iranian official denounces Israel for Sudan airstrike

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparsat denounced Israel on Thursday, accusing it of being behind an explosion at a Sudanese arms factory Wednesday night, Press TV reported.
Mehmanparsat called on countries in the region to "remain vigilant and take firm stances against the Israeli regime’s aggression against a Muslim country and a member of the Arab League," Press TV quoted him as saying.
Sudan on Wednesday called on the UN Security Council to condemn Israel after it accused the Jewish State of carrying out an airstrike in the country, causing a huge explosion and fire at an arms factory in Khartoum that killed two people.
