IRNA: Iran's VP stresses need of resistance against Israel

Iran's First Vice President Mohammed Reza Rahimi visited on Thursday night the village of Maroun al Ras in southern Lebanon, where he stressed his belief in "the necessity to continue resistance against the Zionist regime," Iran's official news agency IRNA reported.
Residents waved Iranian flags and chanted anthems to welcome Rahimi, who later peered through binoculars at the border with Israel, as he stood in an Iranian garden in the village.
Rahimi emphasized Iran's continuing support for Lebanon's Hezbollah, according to IRNA.
