Israel: Castro swastika remark 'brings ideals to shame'

The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday slammed anti-Israel comments made by former Cuban president Fidel Castro the previous day.
Castro had said that "the swastika is now Israel's banner," according to a statement published by the Cuban representatives to the UN Human Rights Council.
"With these outrageous comments, Fidel Castro shames his old-time companions and the ideals he always pretended to serve. Che Guevara must be spinning in his grave," Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor was quoted as saying Tuesday.
