Israeli doctors in Romania to help burnt newborns

Romanian officials say 10 Israeli doctors have arrived in Romania to treat seven premature babies who are in critical condition after a fire in an intensive care unit in a Bucharest hospital in which four other newborns died.
Romanian health official Raed Arafat says the Israeli doctors arrived Wednesday at the Grigore Alexandrescu children's hospital.
Romanian doctors say the case is complicated by the fact that the infants weigh just 1-2.5 kilograms (2.2 to 5.5 pounds), and have up to 80 percent burns on their bodies and respiratory tracts.
It was not clear what caused the fire, but unconfirmed media reports pointed to a malfunctioning air-conditioning unit.
