Israeli passengers stranded in Uzbekistan airport

Ninety Israeli passengers were stranded early Friday at the airport in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, reported Israel Radio.
The passengers were supposed to arrive Thursday night in Israel on their way from Thailand. They landed in Tashkent for a stopover, but the plane that was set to take them to Israel did not arrive, their luggage has not been unloaded from the plane, and they are not allowed to leave the airport since they do not have an entry visa to Uzbekistan.
Israel Radio reported that the return flight to Israel is scheduled to leave only in the afternoon.
