Israeli who killed ex-wife is pardoned by Thailand King

Eli Cohen, who murdered his ex-wife in Bangkok in 2004, was pardoned by the King of Thailand and is expected to be released from jail and return to Israel within six months, Channel 2 reported on Tuesday.
Cohen received a life sentence in Thailand after murdering his ex-wife Carol, dissecting her body and throwing it into a river in a suitcase, according to Channel 2.
Interior Minister Eli Yishai denied on Tuesday that he acted for Cohen's release, according to Channel 10.
