Israeli woman dies after car accident north of Jerusalem

An Israeli woman died from injuries that she sustained during a car accident Tuesday morning when an Israeli vehicle crashed with a Palestinian vehicle on route 60.
The incident occurred near the Beer Zayit bridge north of Jerusalem.
The Palestinian driver was lightly injured and was taken to hospital by a team of Red Crescent medics.
The Israeli woman, who was six months pregnant, was evacuated by helicopter to Tel Hashomer hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Route 60 was closed to traffic in both directions and police are investigating the incident.
