Israelis, Palestinians to renew peace talks in Amman

Israel and Palestinian negotiators will met in Amman Tuesday for direct talks, The Jordanian Foreign Ministry announced Sunday.
This will be the first public direct meeting between the sides in more than a year.
Jordanian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Muhammad al-Kayed said the purpose of the meetings is to find common ground enabling a resumption of talks that will “achieve a Palestinian-Israeli peace accord that embodies the two- state solution and addresses all final status issues by the end of 2012."
