Italy police arrest woman in fatal teen overdose

ROME — Bologna police say they've arrested a Japanese woman and her companion for possession of 5,000 LSD-coated stamps and other drugs in a probe of the overdose death of a 19-year-old Italian.
Carabinieri police Capt. Luca Palmieri told The Associated Press in Rome that the woman, Yukari Miyoshi, 31, was arrested Friday in a hotel near Novara in Piedmont, northern Italy. He said police suspect she's one of three people in Bologna who supplied drugs Sunday to Enrico Rumolo, who died the next day in the hospital.
Italian reports quoted doctors as saying an enormous amount of drugs and alcohol damaged his kidneys, liver and heart.
Palmieri said Miyoshi and a companion whom he didn't immediately identify are suspected of possessing drugs for sale at rave parties.
