Jerusalem: 10-month-old baby loses consciousness, dies

A baby which lost consciousness at a Jerusalem nursery school on Thursday afternoon died at the city's Sha'are Tzedek Hospital. According to a statement from the hospital, the 10-month-old baby was in very serious condition upon arrival, and was taken straight to the intensive care unit. Doctors attempted to resuscitate the infant, but were forced to pronounce his death. The hospital believed that the fatality was a case of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
