Jerusalem’s light rail suspended its services on Wednesday night at 18:00 due to an ongoing dispute between the train drivers and the light-rail operator over pay and working conditions.

The Jerusalem Post, however, that despite the resignation of “a number of drivers” they will be operating the light-rail from 6 o’clock in the morning till 6 in the evening.

By Wednesday, a total of 28 drivers had resigned but Connex management decided to accept only the resignations of the four members of the Light-rail Workers Committee and another three drivers.
