Jews across the country mark Tisha Be'av

Observant Jews across the country will mark the Ninth of Av on Tuesday, commemorating the day the Holy Temples in Jerusalem were destroyed.
Thousands prayed at the Western Wall Monday evening, reading Lamentations, the book of mourning, Army Radio reported.
Many places of entertainment were set to be closed on Tuesday, as well as banks, universities, and local councils, according to the report.
The day of mourning is observed by praying, fasting, sitting on the floor, and reading the book of Lamentations.
