The Shin Bet (Israel's Security Agency) and police arrested seven residents of east Jerusalem, including a lawyer, on Monday, on suspicion of smuggling millions of shekels to jailed Hamas and Islamic Jihad members.
An indictment against the accused residents was issued at the Jerusalem District Court after the completion of the joint-investigation.
