J'lem haredim prevent female medic from entering synagogue

Haredim on Friday morning prevented a female MDA medic from entering the Zopnik synagogue in Jerusalem’s Givat Shaul to where she had been called out to treat a man who had lost consciousness.

The medic told Army Radio that the worshipers “called me some names in Yiddish that weren’t very nice and physically pushed me out.”

Eventually, a male medic from the MDA team treated the man and left hurriedly.
