J'lem Police add forces ahead of Temple Mount Friday prayer

Jerusalem Police, aided by outside reinforcements, completed preparations for Friday prayers at the Temple Mount coinciding with "Nakba Day" scheduled for Sunday.

Border Patrol officers will deploy early on Friday in east Jerusalem and in the Old City in order to keep order and security.

A stationary command center will be set up near the Western Wall and a moving command center will travel between forces.

Forces will also be increased at crossings from the Palestinian territories into Jerusalem and checks of vehicles entering the city will be increased as well.
