Jones: Mideast peace to assist in focusing on Iran

Progress in the Middle-East peace process will help soften Iran's stance and prevent it from diverting world attention off the Iranian nuclear program, Israel Radio quoted on Thursday US President Barack Obama's National Security Adviser, James Jones. He added that it is high time all Mideast leaders started supporting peacemaking efforts. US commitment to Israel's security is stronger than ever and is unassailable, Jones said.
