Lebanese Druze politician and Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt called on Hezbollah to cooperate with the Special Tribunal on Lebanon (STL), which is investigating the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, the
Daily Star reported on Tuesday.
The
Star quoted Jumblatt as writing in a weekly newspaper column: “It is more suitable for Hezbollah, while taking into account its reservations after the release of the indictment, to cooperate positively in this issue in order to reduce the intensity of internal tension.”
