Kadima faction chair slams gov't over budget approval

Kadima faction head Yoel Hasson on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government, after a bi-annual budget was passed in the Knesset.
"Committee heads are aware that it is not proper or acceptable to debate about committees while in the Knesset plenum, which was planned in advance, yet [they] decided not to cancel the various debates in the committees," Hasson charged in a statement.
"Due to the arrogance of the coalition, many were forced to arrive at the Knesset for no reason," he added. "The Likud, under Netanyahu's, is playing on the legislature and trying to gain political strength through lies and half-truths."
