The Kadima faction convened on Monday afternoon to discuss Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's offer for the party to join a national unity government. Opposition leader Tzipi Livni hinted on Sunday that she would not accept Netanyahu's offer, which she thought was insincere. Monday's meeting opened with a speech by Livni, followed by individual speeches from each of the Kadima MKs, which were not be time-limited. After the speeches, the faction will vote to accept or reject the prime minister's proposal.
