Kadima MK says Netanyahu is 'disconnected' from the people

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is "disconnected" from the needs of Israeli citizens, Kadima MK Ronit Tirosh charged on Tuesday.
Tirosh was responding to a speech the prime minister gave to mark three years of his term, in which he praised the country's economic status. Netanyahu compared Israel to a flourishing tree, the roots of which are a healthy economy.
"[Netanyahu] speaks about the fruit of the tree, but in truth the tree is rotted, its fruits are not feeding the public, and its leaves are dead," Tirosh said.
"I advise the prime minister to stop talking in headlines, and to meet the hardships of Israeli citizens, starting at the gas station," she said, noting the numerous increases in gas prices the government has implemented this year.
