Katsav arrives at Supreme Court for rape conviction appeal

Former president Moshe Katsav arrived at the Supreme Court Sunday morning, where justices will hear an appeal filed against the former president's conviction for a number of sexual offenses.
Katsav was convicted in December on two counts of rape, two counts of sexual harassment, an indecent act using force, and obstruction of justice. He has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
In May, Supreme Court Justice Yoram Danziger stayed Katsav’s punishment until his appeal process is complete.
