Katsav's lawyer says he will not request another hearing

Convicted rapist and former president Moshe Katsav will not submit a request for another court hearing, said his lawyer Avigdor Feldman on Monday.

Speaking at the conference of the Center for Law and Media at Bar Ilan University, Feldman said that Kastav doesn't stand a chance of changing the court's decision. He said that the court didn't listen to Katsav and decided to embark on a media campaign.

The lawyer added that the media is prepared to accept a claim of a distortion of justice when it concerns someone like Roman Zadorov, but not when the defendant is the former president.
