Kinneret water level rises by 87 cm. in two months

The water level of the Kinneret rose by 87 centimeters over the last two months, according to statistics compiled by the Water Authority, whose employees returned to work on Sunday after a protracted strike.

The increase occurred following the largest January rainfall in the last five years.

According to the data, the Kinneret is still 4.64 meters below full capacity.
