Knesset Finance C'tee chair says no to new budget

Knesset Finance Committee chairman Moshe Gafni said that the Trajtenberg Committee report will not pass in the Knesset Finance Committee as it is currently written, Israel Radio reported Sunday. Gafni added that he did not think the government should have to draft a new budget.
Gafni told Israel Radio that Knesset Finance Committee will take apart the Trajtenberg report and only approve what is "good for the public."
According to Gafni, there is no need to break the government's two-year budget, as Interior Minister Eli Yishai called for, but rather the government could use moneys located in "hidden" sections of the budget called "black holes," Israel Radio reported.
