Knesset swears in new Kadima MK Avi Duan

Avi Duan became the newest Knesset Member Wednesday, after being sworn in to replace MK Eli Aflalo, whose resignation took effect at 11:45 a.m.
Duan is campaign chief to Shaul Mofaz, and his entry into the Knesset shifts the primary tides in the 28-MK Kadima faction.
His entry to the Knesset represents a loss for Tzipi Livni; while she still has more backing than any of the particular opponents vying for the party leadership in the March 27 primary, the combined anti-Livni camp now holds a majority.
