'Labor must pick candidate to head JNF/KKL before meeting'

The Petah Tikva District Court on Wednesday said the Labor party must decide on a candidate from the party to head The Jewish National Fund/Keren Kayemet LeYisrael.
The coalition agreement between Likud and the Independence faction says that Likud will work to ensure that the person who takes over the JNF/KKL chairmanship is a candidate from Independence, and so, until tomorrow, a candidate can decide to run against current JNF/KKL chairman Effi Stenzler in Labor.
But even if he is elected, he could still be blocked by Meretz, Reform, and Likud.
