Landau compares Migron to Gaza disengagement

Energy and Water Minister Uzi Landau compared the Migron outpost to the Gaza disengagement during a Sunday visit to the site with fellow Israel Beiteinu MKs.

"The government cannot shake off its responsibility. They told the residents here 'run to the hills.' They cannot up and abandon them one bright day." Landau said. "They must find an acceptable solution that won't replay the Gush Katif episode here."

After originally ordering that the outpost be evacuated, the High Court overturned a government deal with Migron's residents that would have postponed the evacuation by three years.
