Leader of Egypt's Jewish community found guilty of fraud

The leader of Egypt's Jewish community, Carmen Weinstein, was given a three year suspended sentence by an Egyptian court over the weekend, Army Radio reported Sunday.  Weinstein had been accused of defrauding an Egyptian businessman.
Cairo Criminal Court also ordered Weinstein to pay the businessman reparations in an amount equivalent to approximately NIS 30,000.
Weinstein was charged with making a deal to sell the man property, taking his money, but refusing to turn the property over to him or return his money.
