Lebanese PM holds talks with Syrian leader

DAMASCUS — Syria@@@s official news agency says President Bashar Assad is holding talks with Lebanese prime minister on regional affairs.
Saad Hariri@@@s visit on Tuesday comes a month after Israeli President Shimon Peres accused Syria of providing Lebanon@@@s Hezbollah with Scud missiles. Syria and Hariri denied the accusation.
It@@@s Hariri@@@s second visit to Syria since relations with Damascus witnessed a remarkable thaw after nearly five-year rupture triggered off by the assassination of his father, former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Many Lebanese blamed his death on Syria, a charge Damascus has repeatedly denied.
The Lebanese leader also plans to meet with President Barack Obama at the White House next week in his first official visit to Washington.
