Lebanese president vows to better arm LAF on border tour.

The president of Lebanon toured Saturday the area where IDF soldiers and Lebanese army forces clashed on Tuesday resulting in the deaths of three Lebanese soldiers, a Lebanese journalist and an Israel soldier, DPA reported.While speaking to members of his country's army, President Michel Suleiman vowed to provide the Lebanese Armed Forces with "more advanced equipment" in order to "protect the dignity of the nation" against "Israeli agression."Suleiman met with UN officials in the area and stated the importance of complying with UN Security Council Resolution 1701 that ended the Second Lebanon War in 2006.
