Libya and Russia discuss possibility of $2 b. arms deal

LibyanDefense Minister Maj.-Gen. Abu Bakr Yunis Jabr landed in Moscow on Saturday evening fortalks which may end in a USD 2 billion military contract, according to aReuters report.

Ifsigned, the deal could reportedly include 20 fighter jets, several S-300 airdefense units and dozens of tanks.
