Libyan ambassador to the United States, Ali Aujali, on Saturday said he supported an interim government that is being created by Libya's former justice minister Mustafa Mohamed Abud Ajleil, Reuters reported.
"I am supporting the new temporary government which was formed by ... Mustafa Mohamed Abud Ajleil, the former minister of justice. This government is the government of the whole of Libya," Reuters quoted Aujali as saying.
"We want to support this government as the caretaker government until the liberation of all of Libya, which I hope will happen very soon."
According to Libyan news sources cited by Reuters, Abud Ajleil is leading the formation of a caretaker government based in Benghazi.
