Libyan envoy to the European Union, Hudaiba al Hadi on Thursday announced his defection from Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's government, AFP reported.
Hadi, along with the other Libyan diplomatic envoys in Belgium, said they defected in protest of the violent crackdown on protesters by Libyan security forces.
