Lieberman: Illegal building in Negev and Galilee is next after freeze

Lieberman after freeze,

"We will focus our national efforts on illegal construction in the Negev and the Galilee" Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Tuesday during a Knesset session aimed at strengthening the Jewish communities in the periphery. "There are a total of 100,000 illegal structures. This is a blatant attempt to build enclaves that based on international legal precedent could then allow for the possibility to sue, dismantle, and separate from Israel," Lieberman said, referring to illegal Beduin building. The foreign minister added that "any construction in the Negev and the Hebron Hills towards the vicinity of Jerusalem is illegal in nature and political in its aims."
