Lieberman: Settlement demolitions would take down gov't

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that the demolition of settlements in the West Bank would bring about the end of the current coalition, speaking to an Israel Beiteinu faction meeting Monday.
Israel Beiteinu MKs wouldn't be the only ones to leave the government, he added, saying that a number of Likud members "would find such a situation impossible."
The foreign minister also addressed another contentious issue currently on the government's agenda, the transfer of collected tax funds to the Palestinian Authority. Renewing the tax transfers that were halted after the PA was accepted to the UN's cultural body, Lieberman said, would be crossing a red line.
