Life for Baka al-Gharbia man convicted of murder

The Haifa District Court sentenced 43-year-old Abdullah Bedowsi from Baka al-Gharbiya to life imprisonment on Sunday, after he confessed and was convicted of murdering Ali Abu Moch, a coffee shop owner in the village.

According to the indictment, Bedowsi planned the murder after Abu Moch asked him to pay back a loan of NIS 140,000.

In November, Bedowsi went to the coffee shop armed with a knife, and stabbed the victim several times in the chest and upper body.

Bedowsi then fled with a stolen briefcase, closing the coffee shop door behind him to hide his victim from view.
