Livni calls for Kadima primary debate with Mofaz

Kadima chair Tzipi Livni on Monday called for a debate to be held as part of the primary contest to elect a party leader, Army Radio reported.
"I believe that the voters have the right to know the positions of the candidates who they are voting for,” Livni said.
Kadima MK and rival Shaul Mofaz's campaign responded that, “Mofaz is focusing his efforts on concluding the campaign, the only debate will be with [Prime Minister] Binyamin Netanyahu, after [Mofaz's primary] victory.”
