Livni: Ignoring High Court rulings unacceptable

"The High Court is not for secular Jews only. We can not allow a situation to arise in which people are not accepting the court's rulings," said opposition leader Tzipi Livni in a speech given at the Beersheba Engineering College on Thursday.
The comments were made while demonstrations were taking place in Jerusalem and Bnei Brak against Tuesday's High Court ruling in the Emmanuel school separation case.
Livni added that a High Court ruling to prevent discrimination was needed now because of the failure of Israeli leadership to rectify the situation previously.
