The international community does not hate Israel, they just do not understand your policy, Opposition head and Kadima Chairwoman Tzippi Livni said to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during a special Knesset session on Tuesday.
Livni specified; "You ask the Palestinians to accept a Jewish State, but what have you done to keep Israel a Jewish State? How have you ensured it will stay Jewish, Zionist and democratic?"
"The peace process depends on the Palestinians, but it also depends on you," the opposition head added.
When addressing Netanyahu's overall policy inaction, Livni sharply criticized his coalition's lack of follow-through on educational promises made during its formulation.
"What have you done about the promises made to IDF veterans regarding higher education?" Livni asked.
