Livni: Soldiers can't be focus of probe

We can not place the soldiers at the heart of the issue, opposition head Tzipi Livni said Wednesday while visiting the soldiers who were injured during the Mavi Marmara ship raid.

"I met with young patriots, hurting not only from physical pain, but from the international condemnations," Livni said during a meeting with a Czechoslovakian representative.

"While there are questions we definitely need to ask about the decisions made and Israel's current political standing, the soldiers can not be the focus of the probe."
