Man who tried to kill Nahariya cop released to house arrest

A 28-year-old man on Sunday, who was arrested on suspicion of trying to kill former Nahariya police officer Eldad Hadad, was released from jail to house arrest.
The former policeman was shot three times leaving his synagogue after praying Sunday morning. He was rushed to Western Galilee Hospital and in moderate condition.
Hadad and three other former police officers were convicted and served prison time for targeting mob kingpin Michael Mor. They were released earlier this year.
