Mashaal meets with Iranian intel minister in Damascus

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal met with the Iranian intelligence minister in Damascus on Sunday. In an interview with the Iranian news agency IRNA after the meeting, Mashaal said that "Everyone fighting against the Zionist enemy knows that we will prevail, of this we are sure," IRNA reported.

Speaking about his meeting with the Iranian intelligence minister, Mashaal said that the meeting was very good and that the topic of discussion was the "current situation in the region, Palestine, and the conflict with Israel," according to IRNA.
