Men accused of attacking soccer player remanded to custody

Petah Tikva Magistrates' Court extended the remand of the two Maccabi Petah Tikva employees accused of attacking Hapoel Haifa's Ali Khatib following a match between the two clubs on Saturday.
Khatib was allegedly headbutted by Petah Tikva’s goalkeeping coach before being kicked while on the ground by a man supposedly connected to the Petah Tikva management.
The two men were remanded to custody until Monday at 4 p.m.
