Mesika: Price tag incidents often carried out by Arabs

Samaraia Regional Council head Gershon Mesika sent an urgent letter to Interior Security Minister Yitzhak Aharanovich requesting him to re-investigate events labeled by "extremist liberal organization" as "price tag" incidents, Army Radio reported Thursday.
Mesika reportedly sent the letter in light of the recent convictions of Abdullah, Ramzi, and Yusuf Muhammad Bakar over their alleged involvement in a plot to bomb the Hassan Bek Mosque in Jaffa in order to kill Muslim worshipers, leaving a "price tag" in order to create the impression that right-wing settlers had carried out the action.
According to Mesika, there exist many other cases where price tag attacks were unjustly blamed on settlers, or right-wing activists, and were in fact carried out by extremist left-wing factions or Arabs seeking provocation.
