'Militia fighters attack south Sudan oil town'

JUBA - Militia fighters attackedthe capital of south Sudan's oil-producing Upper Nile state onSaturday, the southern army said, causing an unknown number ofcasualties.

"There is fighting going on in Malakal. Militia havepenetrated the town. They raided at night," said southern armyspokesman Philip Aguer.
