Ministers propose Shabbat salaries are increased by 350%

A group of 14 ministers has submitted a bill to Knesset, proposing that employers who force their employees to work on Shabbat must pay them at a rate of 350% more than their day-to-day salary.
The ministers hope that should the proposed law pass, it would discourage employers from making workers forfeit what they feel should be their day of rest.
