MK Dalia Itzik: Kadima is ready for early elections

MK Dalia Itzik (Kadima) said on Sunday to Israel Radio that her party and its leader, Shaul Mofaz, are ready for elections. According to Itzik, however, there may be three or four members of Kadima that would oppose early elections.
MK Itzik also emphasized that the Netanyahu government had wasted the last four years living by the motto to "sit down and do nothing."
Also Sunday morning, MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) told Arie Golan on Israel Radio that Israel is more likely to go to early elections than pass the budget.
He added that the welfare of the state and its citizens is the first priority of the prime minister, and that political considerations are secondary.
